• January 8th. Club "Las Amigas" Fashion Show At the Ranch Pavillion. 1:00 p.m. Fashion Clothing by One of A Kind. Baja Chocolate Lovers will be there. $15.00 for the Fashion Show, which includes a salad lunch. Funds raised go to the Scholarship fund for University students.

February 21. The Paella Festival will be held Saturday 21 February 2009 at the El Cortez Hotel

March 7th. Club "Las Amigas" Poker Run. Starts at Rafael Navarro's property north of the Ranch around Km 163.

The Score Baja 250 off-road race is being held in San Felipe 13-15 March 2009.

March 21. The 3rd Annual Caminata Contra el Cancer - Cancer Walk is scheduled for 21 March 2009 - contact Bruce or Frieda Barber here.

The Hobie Cat Midwinters West Regatta will be held at the El Cortez on March 20, 21, & 22, 2009

The 3rd International Blues & Arts Fiesta - Saturday, March 28 at the San Felipe Baseball Stadium. 10 bands and over 40 artist from Mexico and the US. Tickets only $20.00. This is a charitable event, with all proceeds going to the Baja California Lions Club which sponsor the Flying Samaritans and Sonshine Hacienda, a home for abused children.
